We are in the process of identifying the grand challenges we plan to address through our research and creative work, taking into account societal need, our strengths, and our expertise. Find more information and get involved with the process below.
Prepare to Submit an RFP
Teams are now asked to submit a letter of intent for indicating they plan to submit a full proposal detailing their vision in March. Read the RFP below.
Our process consists of four phases to encourage an organic development of research areas. Each phase engages our community to solicit and refine ideas, kicking off with a series of symposia in the fall of 2021. The process will repeat as we seek to develop additional grand challenges.
Letters of intent will be used to connect budding teams with support to further develop their proposals. LOIs should include: proposed title; list of faculty leaders and participants, including their affiliation; and an abstract/synopsis (200-word limit).
