The American Heart Association (AHA) has posted information and guidelines for their Career Development Award (CDA) and Postdoctoral Fellowship Programs.
Eligible applicants for the CDA hold terminal degrees, have a faculty position up to assistant professor and are no more than 5 years beyond the start of their initial faculty appointment. Note that postdoctoral fellows may apply but must be in their faculty positions at time of award activation. Applications are due December 6, 2021 (by 3PM Central Time).
Applicants for Postdoctoral Fellowships must hold a terminal degree by time of application, have no more than five years of research training experience and are working in a research group with appropriate mentoring capacity. Applications are due September 15, 2021 (again, by 3PM Central Time).
AHA indicates they may open other funding opportunities later in the year.
